Pasta la vista: Rihanna leaves posh Hollywood Italian Ago


Rihanna celebrated the news that her duet with Eminem, Love The Way You Lie, had topped the US charts for the third week running with a slap-up dinner in a swanky Italian last night.

However, it didn't look as if the singer had shovelled down much pasta at posh Ago in Hollywood if her svelte figure was anything to go by.


Though 22-year-old star did seem to have taken inspiration from tomato sauce judging by her livid red quiff as she left the eaterie on chi chi Melrose Avenue...

But the rest of her outfit was surprisingly understated for the star, who's known for her flamboyant fashions.

The Bajan popstrel was wearing an almost see-through pinky brown vest top, co-ordinating floral skirt and dusky pink mesh-strapped stilettoes.

The restaurant is quite the celebrity magnet, hardly surprising considerd it's owned by Robert De Niro, movie directing brothers Tony and Ridley Scott and film producing siblings Bob and Harvey Weinstein.

The Disturbia singer was also there to take advantage of a rare night off, as she enjoys a few days break from her Last girl On Earth tour.

Rihanna has also managed to find time to shoot a video for the single, currently topping the US Hot 100, with Mr Slim Shady during her few days off the road.

As previously reported by the Mail Online, the track is inspired by domestic violence, in particular Rihanna's assault at the hands of then boyfriend Chris Brown.

The video stars former Transformers actress Megan Fox and Lost star Dominic Moynahan as a warring couple, as Rihanna and Eminem sing the song around them.

Ms Fox, who got to lock lips with the British star during filming, donated her fee for the video to an American womens' refuge called Sojourn House.

Rihanna's tour meanwhile resumes in Toronto tonight and Montreal on Saturday.

The video for Love The Way You Lie premieres on MTV in the States tonight.
